The lifespan of a professionally installed vehicle wrap depends on the film, environmental exposure, maintenance and where the film is installed. Texas sun and horizontal surfaces can affect longevity, making proper materials and maintenance especially important.

Professional automotive vinyl is designed for application over properly cured, factory-quality paint. Existing peeling clear coat, failing paint, rust or previous body repairs may affect installation or removal and should be evaluated before wrapping.

We generally don't recommend installing wrap over failing paint or clear coat. Vinyl adheres to the surface beneath it, so compromised paint can create installation problems and may lift during eventual wrap removal.

Color-change films are available in a huge range of gloss, satin, matte, metallic, color-shifting, textured and specialty finishes from professional manufacturers.

Hand washing is generally the safest option. Avoid aggressive pressure washing directly against edges and seams, harsh chemicals and automatic washes with abrasive brushes.
